Hi friends! Welcome back to Day 2 of The Ton Spring 2018 Release. For The Ton Spring 2018 Release, Effie has released 14 new stamp designs, & coordinating dies and 3 Standalone Dies! There are two new gifts with purchases that you can obtain with this new release.

For today’s post Day 2, we are featuring  6 new stamps & Coordinating Dies and one Layering Dies: Wild Dahlias, Coming Up Dahlias, Dahlia Bouquet, Peony Laurel, Peony Duo, Geo Mountain Layering Coverplate Dies.

Today I am sharing three cards using NEW Release stamp sets. Here is my first card. I used Coming Up Dahlias stamp set.

Instructions:

1. Create an A2 sized panel from 300g watercolor paper.
2. Create a background image using the Coming Up Dahlias stamp set stamp set with Couture Color –Crystal Pewter on the panel.
3. Stamp image from the Coming Up Dahlias stamp set on the panel with Distress ink “Scattered Straw”.
4. Color the image using watercolor paints with a no-line watercolor technique.
5. Stamp sentiments from the Coming Up Dahlias stamp set with white pigment ink on the black cardstock.
6. Trim the paper in banner shape and adhere them to the panel.

 

 

 

Here is my second card for today.

Instructions:

1. Create an A2 sized panel from 300g watercolor paper.
2. Stamp an image from the Dahlia Bouquet stamp set using Noir ink on the panel.
3. Color the image using Color Burst – Alizarin Crimson/ Marigold
4. Cut the panel & a foam paper using the Bold General Greeting Word Plate Dies 
5. Attach each letter pieces (panel cut & foam cut) together to make a three-dimensional effect.
6. Adhere them to the panel.

 

Here is my last card for today.

Instructions:

1. Create an A2 sized panel from 300g watercolor paper.
2. Stamp outlined dahlias images from Wild Dahlias  stamp set on the panel in Noir ink.
3. Color them using watercolor paints
4. Stamp sentiments from the Friggin Fabulous stamp set (you’re amazing) and Coming Up Dahlias stamp set ( love you, mom) using Noir ink on the panel.
