The Ton’s Summer 2017 Release Blog Hop

Hi crafty friends! Here is Mayline’s blog! You should’ve arrived from Laura Sterckx! And thanks for joining us for The Ton Summer 2017 Release Blog Hop! We’ve had an amazing week sharing all of our new stamps with you. For The Ton’s Summer 2017 Release, Effie has released 24 new stamp designs, coordinating dies, 1 new couture mix and 6 new backdrop board designs!!

For my hop project I created a pair of cards using our new release Sunnies stamp set which debuted on Day 4. Here is my cards for the Hop. They are very unique design and I love how they turned out!

First I stamped glasses images with  Versamark Ink and Noir dye ink on the watercolor paper. For the glasses with versamark ink, I heat embossed using our Rose Gold Embossing Powder and colored it with Color Burst (Burnt Violet, indigo, and Alizarin Crimson) . And I colored another glasses image with Color Burst (Alizarin Crimson,  Terre Verte,Cerulean Blue and Fuchsia) And I fussy cut images. And I draw noes, lips and hair with pencil and then I used a water resistance black pen. After that I painted them. That’s it!!

I wanted to make a video tutorial for this cards but I didn’t have enough time. I have created total 17cards (including blog hop cards) in a short time for the release. I am a full time worker so every single day after work I created cards until I went to bed. No one pushed/asked me to create cards a lot in a short time but once I started, I couldn’t stop it. Suddenly, I realized I had created too many cards!!! Hahaha.. So I stopped to make cards and moved on next step that is taking photos, editing, posting. I have done all the steps including making cards in 12days! I feel that there is a supernatural power that is hidden in the body. Hahaha
