Newest Collection “First Snow”-Penny Black
Hi crafty friends! I am back with my last cards for Penny Black new collection “First Snow”. If you haven’t seen my previous cards click HERE (left) and HERE (right). Today I am sharing four cards with two mini cards.
Here is the first card with two mini cards. These cards are CAS style cards as my favorite card making style.
I stamped houses image from #30-629 xmas cottage stamp set on the A2 sized some white cardstock. Next, I stamped cut hedgehogs with snowmans’ image from #30-633 snow builders stamp set on the panel. And then I colored them with makers. Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from #30-648 holy season stamp set.
Look at these snowman’s face! SO SO CUTE!!!!! If you want to make cute holiday cards or some winter theme cards this #30-633 snow builders stamp set is perfect stamp set!
With this snow builders stamp set, I made mini cards. See next photo!
The size of the card is half size of A2. I just folded A2 sized paper (I usually used A2 size paper as a panel or base) It’s simple style and easy to make it. As I mentioned in my second posting (if you haven’t seen click here) I love the clean and simple style cards by adding accent colors. Yes, I used it again. For the first mini card I used a light green maker for the background and added an accent color “red”. The big bear image from #30-609 cozy critters stamp set (it was last collection “Merry and Joy”). See the last collection click here. For the sentiment I used #30-649 frosty hello stamp set.
Here is the second mini card. I used #30-633 snow builders stamp set (hedgehogs with snowman and hedgehogs holding a gift box) and used #30-609 cozy critters stamp set for Christmas Tree. For the sentence, I used #30-649 frosty hello stamp set.
To make these mini cards, you need to have three stamp sets as the image shown below.
Here is my second card.
To make a background image, I used #30-629 xmas cottage stamp set with light grey ink. And I stamped small images from #30-629 xmas cottage (fox), #30-645 delightful dachshund stamp set (trees), and #30-630 festive frolic (Penguin). I colored them and fussy cut. And then adhere it to the panel. Lastly, I stamped a sentient from #30-648 holy season stamp set.
I made a background image first and then adhered a cute couple with a penguin image. For the background, I stamped a house from #30-629 xmas cottage stamp set and trees from #30-645 delightful dachshund stamp set on the A2 sized panel. I colored background except house and trees using markers. Next, I stamped a girl & boy and penguin from #30-636 cozy cuteness stamp set on another cardstock and then colored them. There is a coordinating die (#51-581 cozy cuteness) so I used it to cut images. I adhered them to the background. Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from #30-648 holy season stamp set.
Here is my last card for today. The process is pretty much the same as others. I stamped images on some white cardstock and colored them with markers. Yes, I am not using some complicated method or professional skills but I like more playing images with a different layout or mix with other stamp images that no-one thought about or tried before.
