Hi crafty friends! Here is Mayline’s blog! You should’ve arrived from Sharyn Sowell. And thanks for joining us for the New Collections Inspiration Blog Hop from Spellbinders! I feel so honoured to be part of such a wonderful blog hop. Today, I am sharing three cards for this blog hop. Here is my first card.
Instructions:
- Create a background image using a blending technique with the light blue ink on the A2 sized white cardstock.
- Add blue and silver splashes to the panel for creating a fun texture.
- Use the Peaceful Garden Etched Dies to cut watercolour paper.
- Colour it using watercolour paints and apply glitter using a glitter pen.
- Adhere the die-cut pieces to the panel and stamp a sentiment using Squid Ink Cave Black ink.
And then I feel like I wanted to add something more so I used Floral Gatefold Etched Dies and adhered it to the bottom of the panel. The final card looks like this. See photos below.

Perfectly sweet and beautiful cards! Amazing details.
Wow! Amazing detail and coloring on your cards! Love the water color effect on the first one! Great job! Tfs Hugs, Christine
Such beautiful cards! I love the way you painted some of these silhouettes!
Amazingly beautiful cards. Such very different looks from very similar dies. All kinds of new ideas. Thank you so much for sharing your art.🐧
These are beautiful! I love how you colored in the images on the first two sweet designs and the gate fold at the bottom of the first one is genius. The colors on the last one are yummy (my favorite colors lol). Thanks for sharing all 3 and for the inspiration. (mardy14@bellsouth.net)
