Altenew August 2018 Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway
I am excited to be joining you for today’s Altenew August 2018 Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop. If you are hopping along, you should have come from Virginia Lu. If you get lost along the way, head over to Altenew for the complete listing of designers joining in the hop, along with the great prize!
Today I am sharing six cards using four stamp sets. Here is my first card.
Instructions:
- Create an A2 sized panel from watercolor paper.
- Apply distress inks onto the one of a Black Print image from Black Print stamp set and then spray a bit of water on the inked parts..
- Stamped it on watercolor panel.
- Add water splashes to the panel for creating a fun texture and Set aside
- Apply pink color distress ink on the big outlined flower image from Floral Art Stamp Set and spray a bit on the inked parts and stamped. (I did the same way when I stamped leaves)
- Use Floral Art Die Set to cut images.
- Place the die cut pieces on the panel.
- Stamp a sentiment from Floral Art Stamp Set using a black ink.
Here is my second card. I used the same way that I used the first card. So I will skip explaining. For this card, I used Floral Art Stamp and For All Seasons Stamp Set.
Here is my next card. It’s a modern style card using new stamp sets, watercolor paints and inks.
Instructions:
- Create an A2 sized panel from watercolor paper.
- Stamp a pattern image from Black Print stamp set using a Forest Glades ink and Frayed Leaf ink on the panel.
- Stamp a sentiment from For All Seasons Stamp Set using a black ink.
- Paint the edge of the panel using an Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set.
This card is a simple and easy card to make.
Instructions:
- Create an A2 sized panel from watercolor paper.
- Apply a blue distress inks onto the pattern image from Black Print stamp set
- Spray a bit of water on the inked parts.
- Stamped it on watercolor panel.
- Add water splashes to the panel for creating a fun texture.
- Stamp a sentiment from Inked Flora Stamp Set using a black ink on the panel.
Instructions:
- Create an A2 sized watercolour paper panel.
- Stamp flower and leaves images from Inked Flora Stamp Set on the panel with Distress ink “Scattered Straw” ( I stamped leaves on the panel, and flower on another watercolour paper)
- Use an Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set using a no-line watercolor technique.
- Fussy cut the flower image and adhere it to the panel with 3D foam tape.
- Stamp a sentiment from
- Inked Flora Stamp Set on the panel.
Here is my last card for today.
Instructions:
- Create a background using a blending technique with the oxide ink on the A2 sized cardstock panel.
- Add water splashes to the blend panel for creating a milky appearance as the ink repels
- Stamp leaves image from Floral Art Stamp Set on using an Evergreen, Forest Glades ink and Frayed Leaf ink on the panel.
- Stamp flower images from the same stamp set on the other white cardstock.
- Use Floral Art Die Set to cut images.
- Place the die cut pieces on the panel.
- Stamp a sentiment from Inked Flora Stamp using a black ink on the panel.
