Welcome to The Ton’s Summer 2016 Release – Day 1

I am super excited to share all the new products with you during this week. Be sure to stop by The Ton blog to see the rest of the projects design team has created. And come join us on Thursday for a fabulous blog hop featuring our design team members and special guests!

For our Summer 2016 Release, we have 15 new stamps, 14 new Inks and new Couture Mixes. For today’s post Day 1, we are featuring  five new stamps: Wild Cherry Blossoms, Always Cherry Blossoms, Cherry Blossom Garden BG, Graceful Rose, Lucky Tulip

Today I am sharing four cards using Summer 2016 Release stamp sets. Here is my first card.  I used Lucky Tulip stamp set, Graceful Rose stamp set, and Basic Labels stamp set.

To start off, I repeatedly stamped the word ‘lovely’ and ‘good luck’ from Lucky Tulip stamp set and Graceful Rose stamp set  with our Crystal Pewter Dye ink on some white cardstock.

 

Next I stamped a flower images from Lucky Tulip stamp set with VersaMark ink on some watercolor paper. Then I heat embossed a floral image using our Rose Gold Embossing Powder.  And then I started to color the images using watercolor paint. After that I fussy cut it and taped it down on the paper.

 

Next I stamped the label stamps from our Basic Labels stamp set in our Noir Dye Ink on separate cardstock. Then I fussy cut the labels. I adhered a strips of the Adhesive Foil Paper – Matte Gold onto the edges of the labels. Next I popped it up the edges of card base. Lastly, I added our Glass Slippers Sequins to finish off the card!

Let’s move on next card!

 

 

Here is my another card. I used Always Cherry Blossoms stamp set. I stamped a cherry blossoms image on A2 sized watercolor paper (4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches) panel using our Noir dye ink. And then I colored it using watercolor paint. After that I stamped a sentiment from our new released stamp Graceful Rose using our couture color Noir Dye ink. That’s it.

 

 

Here is my third card using a no-line watercolor technique. To start off, I stamped a cherry blossoms image from Always Cherry Blossoms stamp set using Distress ink “Scattered Straw”on watercolor paper. Next I used watercolor paint for coloring. After that I stamped cherry blossom stamen images from Wild Cherry Blossoms stamp set using  Noir Dye ink. Lastly I stamped a sentiment from Lucky Tulip stamp set using Noir Dye ink on the paper. That’s it!

 

 

Here is my last card for today. I used Wild Cherry Blossoms stamp set. I started off with a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 A2 some white cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from Wild Cherry Blossoms stamp set with our Noir Dye ink. And then randomly I stamped flower petals,stamens and leaves  from Wild Cherry Blossoms stamp set using Couture Color inks (petals: Lemon Drop Dye, Peach Blossom Dye, Soft Garnet Dye /  stamens: Noir Dye ink /  leaves: Soft Garden Dye, Bright Fern Dye ). That’s it! It’s pretty simple!
