A FABULOUS CARD‏-The Ton

Hello crafty friends, It’s the end of February 2016!! Woohoo! Time flies so fast! I hope you all had a wonderful day!  A few days ago, I read some article about The Orchid Flower, Its Meanings and Symbolism. According to the article, orchids symbolize fertility, refinement, thoughtfulness, charm, love and beauty. The meaning of orchids can changed based on colors. For example, pink orchids symbolize grace, joy and happiness and purple ones symbolize admiration, respect, dignity and royalty. There’s an explanation of eight colors of orchid meanings. That’s interesting. But as you know it depends on  region, country and culture which all have different meanings and symbolisms. Don’t take it too seriously 🙂

OK! let’s take a look at my card for today._DSC1282 copy copy_DSC1290 copy copy

To start off, I used  Geometric Lattice Coverplate Die from The Ton with black card stock. And then I adhered it down on the black cardstock. Next, I stamped the orchid images on white cardstock using Couture Ink:  Orchid Collection (Soft Orchid Dye, Orchid Crush Dye and Grand Fuchsia Dye) , Peony Collection (Ballet Slippers Dye, Hollywood Star Dye and Cosmopolitan Pink Hybrid), and Ruby Collection (Rose Quartz Dye, Soft Garnet Dye and Red Sangria Hybrid). After that, I fussy cut the images and adhered them down on the cardstock. Then I cut out Fabulous Word Die from The Ton three times black cardstock and one time on gold paper. Next, I stacked them together and lastly I adye red it down on the cardstock as you can see an image above. That’s it!
